Tips on Earning Unknown Coins and Key Points
Unknown Coins are earned through opening safes in the safe room, which are purchased via key points that are rewarded for completing ad incentives. But maximizing key point generation isn't as easy as just clicking on each and every ad incentive or completing your safe house missions as soon as possible, its all about strategy and timing. The key is WHEN you watch the ads or claim your mission rewards. Here is what I have learned:
1. Master the Safe Room
Don't simply watch every video immediately. I have found that the daily safe room mission rewards “bonus” key points if you have watched a single video or more. This means, you need to watch a video before you collect the daily mission rewards, otherwise (like many people have found) no key points will be rewarded. Obviously you earn more key points for watching ads after having completed the daily safe room mission, but just today I earned over 7,000 key points from the safe room daily after just viewing a single ad before claiming.
2. Wait As Long As You Can
For some unexplained reason, it seems to me that delaying any ad viewing well beyond the daily server reset seems to yield more key points the closer toward the next reset you wait. Ever hear early bird gets the worm? This is the exact opposite. The longer you can keep from viewing your ad incentives, the greater the reward. I went from a few hundred key points per video right after reset and viewing immediately, to sometimes over 3,000 key points per ad 12 or so hours after server reset.
3. Buy The Skip Video Perk
This tip speaks for itself. In addition to not having to wait for probably close to 10 minutes every day to do all ad incentives, apparently the perk increases the key points you generate. This perk becomes an automatic passive at VIP 12 though, and it only lasts for 30 days in its purchasable form. To find it, navigate to the "Perks" tab located in the bottom right of the “World”, “Town”, and “Explore” tabs. Once in the perks shop, navigate to the “Monthly Benefits” tab and in the submenu on the left side there are 2 tabs, the second of which being for the “Skip Video” Perk.
In conclusion
Well, that's all I know. I have no clue what's coming up in this upcoming “Improvement in Acquisition” update, and unfortunately it may render the above information outdated. Nevertheless, good luck and happy holidays!
