Promise (Part 2) Strategy from Dominus (S32)
The best method I have found for clearing Survival Records like Promise (Part 2) is to prioritize the following:
- 1) Have a healer: Your characters’ health and energy carry over to the next battle, so healers play an even more important role than normal to make sure everyone stays in tip-top shape.
2) Don’t let your team members die: position more survivable characters to soak up damage. Once they die, they are unusable for the rest of the Record attempt. Restart battles before they end to try to keep people alive- it doesn’t cost you anything!
3) Use the boost items found around the map: they can heal your whole roster, revive a random fallen character, or give you a new survivor. Make sure you pick someone that fits well with your current team!
4) Fight the small battles first: Your team gets stronger after every victory thanks to the buff rewards. So tackle the easier fights first, and your team will have more of an advantage in the hard fights (and will more likely still be totally alive). i recommend prioritizing buff selections that enhance crit, atk, lifesteal, and healing in that order (taken with a grain of salt, of course). Alignment-specific buffs are usually only worthwhile if you have 3 or more characters from that alignment on your team.
