Annie

Kate

R

Rating: ★★★★

Strengths:

- Has moderate AOE damage ability,

  • - Has useful CC ability.
  • - Has a healing ability that also gives damage reduction to those that are healed.

Weaknesses

- Need a lot of investment to make an impact.

  • - Lacks damage.
  • - Lacks abilities that gives buffs.
  • - Can easily be killed by strong AOE damaging skills.
  • - Overshadowed by other Neutral survivors.

    Recommended Special Gear:
    - Asyl's Best Luxury Goods helps her to regenerate her energy and activate her Ultimate quickly since Annie's Ultimate enhances her other skills

  • General Review:
  • - Annie is a decent Neutral Technician Survivor where she can heal allies, reduce damage, stun/taunt enemies, and deal decent amount of damage. However, because she can do all these, the effectiveness are overshadowed by other Neutral survivors that specializes on only one thing such as damage, AOE, healing, and buffing. Annie is recommended to be placed in the backline. Overall, Annie is a decent Neutral character that revolves around using her ultimate ability as soon as possible to enhance her other abilities to support your team and damage the enemy.

Rating: ★★★★★

Strengths:

- Excellent Damage Dealer.

  • - Has a very strong AOE ultimate.
  • - Pairs well with other Survivors that gather enemies together like Abraham and Chloe.
  • - Speedy survivor.
  • - Can perform with very little setup and is not susceptible to interruptions.
  • - Useful for all game modes.
    - Able to provide utilities like stuns and shields.

Weaknesses

- Relies heavily on proper position placement.
- Very squishy and needs other survivors to peel for Kate and defend her.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Ammunition will help increase her attack every 3 seconds.

  • General Review:
  • - Kate is very strong backline damage dealer that is able to provide both shields and CC for her team. Kate has an ability where she can place a target on the nearest and the farthest enemy survivors. Both “spotted” survivors will receive more damage. However, If one of the “spotted” survivor dies, then the other “spotted” survivor will be stunned. In addition, Kate has a very strong AOE damaging skill that can be paired well with other Neutral survivors, like Abraham. The downside of Kate is that she is very squishy and needs to be in a safe position. Thus, she relies on her positional placements and a team composition that can defend her.

Rating: ★★★★

Strengths:

- Has decent survivability.

  • - Has really good CC ability that can taunt and stun the enemy team.
    - Very agile, leaping into a the enemy team with CC's.
    - Susceptible to interrupt enemy survivors that have high speed stats.

Weaknesses

- Dies too fast if you do not invest on R.
- Jumps into the enemy team, then taunts. If defense stats are too low, R will vanish.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Bulletproof Vest he will survive longer on the battlefield.

  • General Review:
  • - R is a decent frontline Neutral Tank that is kitted with CC's and Taunts. He is also agile, jumping into the enemy team at the start of combat and interrupting those that uses their abilities from the get-go. He is paired well with Abraham so that Abraham can land is hook before he gets interrupted. The downside of this agile hulk is that he does not have high survivability compared to other tanks. If R jumps into the enemy team with low defense stats, then taunts, he will disappear at the start of combat. R cannot be by himself. He relies on his team to erase the enemy team so that he can make an impact.

AbrahamGideonAxel

Rating: ★★★★★

Strengths:

- Strong damage dealer.
- Strong AOE ability that can pull in 3 enemies at once, or even more depending on the enemies team movements.
- Has a lot of CC abilities that can perm-stun while also deal a lot of damage.

  • - Has Dots and De-buffs.

Weaknesses

- There are several survivors that interrupts Abraham's starting hook ability. Eugene's scarecrow is one of them. This may hinder your team at the start of combat. It can also hinder the outcome.
- Need other survivors to assist Abraham so that he can carry. For example, R can be used to interrupt the enemy team at the start of combat so that Abraham can hook enemies in.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Bulletproof Vest will help him to survive the battle. It will give a shied base on Abraham's attack stat.
- Asyl's Best Shoes: Increases Crit Rate and when Abe Crits increases his speed reducing the cooldown of his strong abilities.

  • General Review:
  • - Overall, Abraham is a must have. He is a very strong Neutral survivor that deals a lot of damage, groups enemies together, provides CC's, and de-buffs. When building a team composition, Abraham is your base. You can add any survivor that can assist Abraham with more damage, survivability, speed, etc. However, one downside of Abraham is that there are several survivors that can interrupt him at the start of combat. You will need to adjust your team composition and positional placements so that Abraham can pull multiple enemies at the start of combat. Best position for Abraham is the middle of the backline as he can grab 3 enemies.

Rating: ★★

Strengths:

- Passive ability reduces the damage received.
- Unlocking his personal gear give Gideon more survivability.
- Good counter to enemies that has a knock-back or push-back ability effect since his ultimate can create a barricade that can prevent the enemy from advancing and stuns for some time.
- Decent damage output.

Weaknesses

- Semi-tanker, even with all the survivability he gains from his ability and personal gear.
- Generates energy very slow.
- Auto-attacking is susceptible to get interrupted due to the long wind up animation.
- Overshadowed by other front-liners.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Bulletproof Vest helps Gideon survive on the battlefield since it gives an amount of shield based on his attack stat.

  • General Review:
  • - Gideon is an okay front-line Neutral semi-tank. Even though Gideon receives damage reduction from his passive ability and gains survivability from his personal and special gear, there are better front-liners that can outperform Gideon. The major downside of Gideon is that he generates energy very slowly. This can be caused by how slow his attack wind-up animation is and how susceptible it is to stun-lock Gideon. He does deal decent damage and provides utility for the team, but it is preferred to use other survivors that can do better.
  •

Rating: ★★★

Strengths:

- Great at stalling and keeping enemies at bay.

  • - Has high survivability from his abilities.
    - Great counter to enemies that have CC effects with the help of his ultimate ability.
  • - High HP restoration.
    - Can deal decent damage and silence them.
    - Increase HP restoration and share it amongst your team when unlocking his personal gear/

Weaknesses

- Axel's support abilities like shield and HP restoration are only exclusive to the lowest HP comrade and if an enemy has a lot of AOE abilities Axel can't support or sustain his entire team instantly.
- There are better front-line tanks that can perform better.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Medical Supplies helps him to increase his incoming HP restoration.

  • General Review:
  • - Axel is a decent front-line Neutral tank that has immunity to CC with the help of his ultimate ability, high survivability, HP restoration, and deals decent damage. However, Axel's HP restoration and Shield are only exclusive to the lowest HP comrade (when unlocking personal gear). Axel will not be able to support his team if you are facing against an AOE specific team. Because of this, he is overshadowed by other front-line tanks that performs better.

Sebastian

Magna

Rosita

Rating: ★★★★

Strengths:

- Has strong CC abilities.
- Has light health buffs.
- Has decent survivability.
- Able to remove opponent's to make it a 5v4.

Weaknesses

- Sebastian has a passive ability that makes him move to a random enemy closely. Upon moving to the enemy there's a high chance nearby enemies will also attack him.
- Weak to stuns and charms.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Shoes: Increases Crit Rate and when Sebastian Crits increases his speed reducing the cooldown of his Cynophobia.

  • - Asyl's Best Ammunition helps him to provide more damage output since his attack stats are low.

  • General Review:
  • - Overall, Sebastian is a great support to have in the backline. He is able to provide small health buffs and remove an opponent from combat for a couple of seconds. He also has a passive ability that increases the rate of dodging opponents and CCing them. However, he lacks damage and has an ability where he moves to a random enemy closely which can cause them to attack Sebastian.

Rating: ★★★★

Strengths:

- Pairs well with Abraham.
- Buffs speed at the start which increases dmg and cc timing.
- Decent damage dealer.

  • - Has knockbacks.
    - Has life-steal.
    - Able to Reduce opponent's def and buff Crit rate.

Weaknesses

- Requires another strong character to be effective.

  • - Survivability is low.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Medical Supplies helps Magna increases her incoming HP restoration since Magna also has a lifesteal which will maximize her skill effect. This also gives a defense stat to Magna.

  • General Review:
  • - Magna is a decent backline utility support that can deal decent damage. She can knockback enemies, while buffing your team's speed and Crit Rate. She can also has life-steal which is a plus to self-sustain. However, she lacks survivability. If she is positioned wrong, she can vanish in flash. She is mainly used to give speed buffs to allies that can use a strong ability at the start of combat.

Rating: ★★★

Strengths:

- When she receives damage, she evades all damage for a short period of time.
- Has high evasion.
- Attacks the lowest HP enemy from behind.
- Able to instantly counter when she receives damage from a specific enemy.

Weaknesses

- Situational.
- Low survivability.
- Jumps into the enemy's team.
- Her Evasion is RNG. She cannot avoid incoming attacks all the time. She might not be able to survive if she is CC'd.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Bulletproof Vest: Increases her evasion and grants her a shield based on her attack stats. .

  • General Review:
  • - Overall, Rosita is a decent damage dealer that has high evasions and target the enemy with the lowest HP. However, her evasion is a bit reliant on RNG so she can easily disappear if she is CC'd or just unlucky. She also has low survivability which does not help the cause. Because of this, she is overshadowed by other damage dealers that are consistent with their damage output and are in a safe position throughout combat.
  •

Denise

Rating: ★★★

Strengths:

- Ultimate heals the entire team, increasing healing on low HP comrades. At later levels also increases comrades DEF.
- If comrade does not need healing, it will provide them a small shield instead
- Charms the enemy she is attacking.
- Extremely Powerful early in the game.
- Great synergy with Axel.

Weaknesses

- Improper positioning can lead to defeat.
- Silence effects by characters like Chemist can greatly hinder Denise.
- Later in the game, comrades die before she gets ultimate making Denise overshadowed by Annie and Kate

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Luxury Goods: Increases Denise's energy gained per second allowing her to use ultimate faster keeping her team alive.

  • General Review:
  • - Denise is a decent Healer to have. She can charm enemies she attacks and heal the entire team (heals more towards an ally with the lowest health). However, it would take some time for Denise to generate energy to use her ultimate. Because of this, there are other healing supports that may be better to have. Position-wise. Denise can either be in the backline or the frontline. She is most commonly used in the backline as it is safe, but there are times where your only option is to place her in the frontline. She is decent in the frontline because she can charm the person she is in front to stall for time and generate energy.
