[Community's Rating and Tips For Each Overseer Survivor]

Hello Survivors!

We have compiled everyone's tips and feedback from each Overseer Survivor and summarized them into one page.

Hope this helps you better your understanding of each Overseer Survivor to face the walking dead!

Carl Grimes

Ezekiel

Jesus

Rating: ★★★

Strengths:

- Decent damage dealer.

  • - Has decent CC abilities that can stun the enemies.
  • - Has a moderate amount of survivability.

Weaknesses

- Suits PvP better than PvE.
- Overshadowed by other survivors as Carl is an Overseer, which means that it is hard to invest heavily in him.

  • - Better to be used in the backline as utility support, rather than a frontline tank.

  • Recommended Special Gear:
    - Asyl’s Goods, Helmet & Supplies to increase HP regeneration.

  • General Review:
  • - Carl Grimes is a Tank Overseer that has decent damage and great CC abilities. However, due to his kit, Carl is best suited to be placed in the backline to act as a utility support. Carl can provide silences, stuns, and deny energy regeneration while offering AoE capabilities. He also starts the battle with a regen HP effect which eventually grants him CC immunity. Because of this, Carl excels in PvP. The major downside of Carl is that he is an Overseer. This means that it is very hard to promote this survivor. There are a lot of survivors that are cheaper to invest in that can outperform Carl.

Rating: ★★★★★

Strengths:

- Has a great SPD buff.

  • - Has great survivability.
  • - Is able to heal.
  • - Is able to cleanse CC.
  • - Able to shield and spread damage to surrounding targets.
  • - Able to fit into any team.

Weaknesses

- Easily replaceable with better survivors like Michonne, Glenn, Eugene, etc.
- excels only in Total War, Joint Combat, and Supply Run (Raider Boss), but not needed anywhere else.

  • Recommended Special Gear:
    - Asyl’s Goods to trigger is speed ultimate more.

  • General Review:
  • - Ezekiel is a nice backline Overseer support to have on your team. He is able to grant a large SPD buff to his entire team, while also, cleansing status ailments, dealing a moderate amount of damage, and healing his team. Ezekiel fits into a wide variety of team compositions. However, because Ezekiel is an Overseer, it will be hard to invest a lot into him. He excels in Total War, Joint Combat, and Supply Run (Raider Boss) as he can buff up his team, but is replaceable with better supports in other contents.

Rating: ★★★★★

Strengths:

- Strong damage dealer.

  • - Able to interrupt an enemy that is on the opposite of him at the start of combat.
  • - Personal equipment gives survivability and reduces the enemy's HP recovery.

Weaknesses

- Doesn't contribute to team synergy.

  • - Resource heavy.
  • - Glass cannon.

    Recommended Special Gear:
    - Asyl's Best Shoes for the Crit Rate and SPD.

  • General Review:
  • - Jesus is a very strong damage dealer that can quickly cut through an enemy. He is able to interrupt the enemy that is on the opposite side and stun them momentarily at the start of combat. Because of this, he is a great counter survivor that can use a threatening move at the start of combat, like Abraham. In addition, Jesus is very strong in PvP. You just need to place Jesus on the same row as the survivor with the highest threat. However, the major downside of Jesus is that he is a glass cannon. Without his personal equipment and supports giving him survivability, he will be exposed to getting one shot. If you can give Jesus enough survivability, then he is a must-have on your team.

Leader Rick

Michonne

Inventor Eugene

Rating: ★★★

Strengths:

- Able to summon Alexandrian soldiers that deal moderate damage to enemies.

  • - Able to reduce the SPD of enemies.
  • - Able to interrupt survivors at the start of combat.
  • - Excels early game.

Weaknesses

- Jumps into the enemy team.

  • - Low survivability compared to other Warriors.
  • - Falls off late game.

    Recommended Special Gear:
    - Asyl's Best Helmet for the HP regen.
  • - Asyl's Best Body Armor to gain a shield each time he uses his ultimate.

  • General Review:
  • - Leader Rick is an okay damage dealer that is fairly easy to obtain. Leader Rick is able to summon Alexandrian soldiers onto the field to deal damage to the enemies. He can also reduce the SPD of enemies he faces. Even though Leader Rick can interrupt the enemy at the start of the combat, this is his biggest downfall. For Leader Rick to interrupt the enemy, he will jump onto them, bringing himself into the enemy's team. With Leader Rick's low survivability, he can get one shot. Leader Rick's overall playstyle is to summon soldiers over time and have your support buff them. Because of this, Leader Rick is very strong early game, but due to the nature of TWD: All-Stars, he falls rather quickly late-game. In regards to his recommended position, you can place Leader Rick in the backline as he jumps the enemy team at the start of combat.

Rating: ★★★★★

Strengths:

- Has very high survivability.

  • - Great damage dealer.
  • - Great AoE abilities.
  • - Able to heal an ally with the lowest health.
  • - Strong for side content like Total War.
  •

Weaknesses

- Will need a team that can stay alive for Michonne to shine.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl’s Shoes for the SPD

  • - Asyl's Ammunition for the ATK
  • - Asyl's Supplies for the incoming HP recovery.

  • General Review:
  • - Michonne is a must-have on your team. She is a very agile damage dealer that can stay alive as long as your allies are alive. She jumps into the enemy team while dealing with a great amount of AoE damage. If she is in danger, she creates a smoke screen to hide from the enemy, then pops back out dealing a moderate amount of AoE damage. This smoke screen will reduce her max HP but will cause her to gain a portion of her health back while also healing the lowest health ally. Because of this, she is a strong damage absorber and is recommended to be placed on the frontline. She will need to be in a team that can stay alive so that she can stay alive.

Rating: ★★★★

Strengths:

- Has high survivability.

- Able to sustain himself.
- Has great damaging AoE abilities.
- Has great AoE crowd control abilities.

Weaknesses:

- Hides behind his cart, avoiding the enemy's attack when your team is still alive.

- Uses his health to activate his active and passive abilities.

Recommended Special Gear:
- Asyl's Best Ammunition for the 1% damage increase every 3 seconds.
- Asyl's Best Luxury Good for extra survivability.

General Review:
- Overall, Inventor Eugene is a very strong AoE damage dealer that is kitted with a lot of CC and survivability. He can be a damage dealer or a Utility Tank, depending on what you equip him. He excels in both. This survivor can stay and spam damage as long as your tank stays alive. He can also be used defensively, but make sure that your backline can take the damage for him. All in all, Inventor Eugene is a strong survivor to have on your team as he can be suited for all types of content while dishing out a lot of damage and CC.
