5 great ways to get gold boxes from 5/10/15/20
The full 20 challenges were released today and I have completed them. Here are my tips to get all 12 crates from challenges 5/10/15/20.
1) Bring your hardest hitting character in. For most players including me, it is abraham.
2) Put your best 4 overseer/overlord characters into training grounds. If you dont have 4, just put all that you have.
3) Leverage your friends
Sadly, bonded warehouse requires wide portfolio of overseer/warlord characters.
If you did not collect these characters during events and were not lucky enough to get them during summons, my condolences goes to you. ๐๐๐๐
If you dont have the character to complete, rely on your Friend > Mercenary for help.
If your friends do not have the character, unfriend the inactive ones and search for high power players as friends. Befriend the pay to win players in hopes that they have the character you lack.
Do the same for your Town > Community > Administration by getting high power players to โSign Support Agreementโ to loan you their roster of characters. Players who signed the agreement will have the gold-blue medal displayed near their avatar. Their profiles will be of a beige color too.
4) If you cannot win, focus on your equipment, NOT your level.
The enemies' level is always set to be a certain number above you. If you levelled from 100 -> 120, the enemy level goes from 140 -> 160
So focus on getting better equipment as the enemy does not increase their power difficulty against you.
5) Specific challenge requirements for gold boxes:
ALWAYS look at Stage Battle Records for inspiration
Challenge #5: Use Ultimate 4 times or less
Deploy your hardest hitting character and control the ultimates by triggering manually. More often than not, your hardest hitting character should be using all 4 triggers.
Challenge #10: Take out 2 characters in front row first
For most players using abraham:
Put Abraham at front row so he does not pull Glenn in KO first.
Abraham should be brought out of field by Sebastian, leaving your other characters to focus on the front row.
An alternative is to put Abraham at positions 3 or 5 so again Glenn does not KO first.
There are multiple ways to clear front row first
Use crowd controls like Denise, Gabriel, Sebastian
Use divers like Princess, Jeeeeeesus, Rania
Use draggers like Rania
One other way to do this is to just spam the repeat button until Glenn dies after the front row ๐
Challenge #15: Win by deploying characters that are all the same class
Best characters by class:
Ranger:
Abraham, Magna, Andrea, Jeeeesus, Yumiko are great.
Dwight, Rosita and Scott are fine
Tank:
Beta, Tyreese, Shane, Alpha, Shane are great.
Duane, R, Axel are fine
Technician:
Sherry, Lake, Chemist, Kate, Belle are great.
Rick, Annie, Chloe are fine
Support:
Sophia, Glenn, Eugene, Michonne, Negan are great.
Sebastian, Henry, Denise, Gabriel, Malcolm are fine.
Warrior:
said nobody. But fine if you are the 0.001% that loves warrior alignment
Brody, Dante, Andrew, Gunther, Laura are fine.
The rest are bad. Warrior class needs a major rework.
Challenge #20: Deploy all tank characters to back row
The wording confused me. It means that your entire back row must comprise of tank characters. 3 tank characters. It does not mean that you can skip deploying tanks and bypass the requirement.
Use your best tanks / tanks aligned to your best characters.
E.g. Abraham, R, Axel from Neutral. Sherry, Beta from Predator.
Just ensure that 3 tanks make up the back row.
