What’s your favorite formation? PvP/PvE Formations
1.) World Stage (PvE) & Frontier (PvP) Formation.
This formation is mostly built around Neutral and Bystander toons for the 15% ATK and 15% HP bonus, but is primarily focused on Abraham’s ability to deal insane amounts of damage to 3 pulled targets in either the 1/2 or more preferably the 4 position. The key is to support Abe with both Magna (+30 Speed and +100 Energy) and Lake (sight block, +20% attack, - 50% attack & - 50 speed for enemies pulled by Abe in the 4 position) and equip Abe with the Asyl Boots. This strategy allows Abe to pull the enemies (if he is in the 4 position) in Lake’s sight block that deals increased damage with debuffs and Magna’s speed for total annihilation. Kate is there to give a 300% of attack shield to the 1 & 2 toons and to deal damage to the 3 & 5 positioned enemy toons not pulled by Abe, but most importantly her ult is a second option to Abe’s Ult. When all else fails, Lake’s Ult is the last resort in case Abe or Kate die with his 600% damage ult. Tyreese is the best tank to deal with an opposing Abraham due to his faction advantage to Neutral and his ability to survive and be an attack tank for you if he gets pulled by an opposing Abe also. Remember that Tyreese here gets a shield from Kate for extra survivability. In this formation, the enemy Abe will have to choose to pull either Kate, Lake, Abe or a combination of Kate/Abe or Abe/Lake, leaving either Kate and/or Lake to still deal their Ults in case of your Abe’s death due to the enemy Abe being faster than your Abe. This is why Magna is a must, cause speed is king 👑. Counter to this formation.. Eugene. You can switch out Tyreese or Lake for Eugene in this formation and it works wonders also.
2.) Joint Combat Formation.
These toons are the heavy hitters for single boss battles. Irrespective of the faction bonus which still grants a +10% ATK & +10% HP, Sherry, Kate, Sophia & Ezekiel will tear the Raiders and Corpse Tower down 😈, guaranteeing a high score for those two bosses. Just make sure to equip Sherry & Kate with Asyl Boots and Ezekiel, Glenn & Sophia with Asyl Goods. Hopefully you have a high grade Sherry so that Sophia will follow her for the extra Ults. Surprisingly, aside from giving extra Ults and bonuses, Sophia will act as a secondary DPS in this formation. Kate is there to provide a third DPS and a shield for Sherry and Sophia. Glenn provides healing and energy, while Zeke provides the speed boost and heal also for the duration of the match, unlike Magna, who only does the speed boost at the start.
3.) Survival Record and Supply Run (PvE) Formation.
Now this formation is centered around games modes that require multiple battles to complete and uses toons in the Ally, Neutral and Overseer faction for the +15% ATK and +15% HP bonus. The trick to this formation is to be able to release your DPS toons (Abe and Kate’s) Ults instantly and simultaneously, while also being healed in the process by Glenn, Michonne, and Sophia for extra survivability in the game mode ❤️🩹. Just make sure your Abe or Kate are the strongest toons so that Sophia will follow them for her Ult and extra boost. The energy boost Ult from Glenn also ensures that Michonne can use her Ult multiple times to heal all the other allies in the formation, for longevity in the game mode. Glenn in this formation acts as a pseudo-tank, due to his placement in front of Kate & Abe, and below Michonne to ensure his Ult hits them. Don’t worry, Abe will pull the 2 position enemy and Kate will give both Glenn and Michonne a shield. Since Sophia will just follow Abe or Kate, she will also get the Ult from Glenn.
