Developer's Note <Suggestion Feedback & 1.6 Update News>
Hello Survivors! It's been a while, hasn’t it? Executive Producer HAND here.
The weather suddenly got cold here. Although I don’t care much for the cold,
the scenery has gotten quite beautiful! (Hope I didn’t sound too old there)
Today we finished preparing for the upcoming 1.6 Update,
and I am here with several news and stories to share. Let's dive right in!
#1. Total War (The name has changed from All-Out War)
The highlight of this update is definitely Total War.
I actually already spoiled it on my first Dev Note <Greetings>.
Total War was not easy to design and add, so I am a little nervous to be honest.
(For a second there, I regretted spoiling it so soon…)
Total War is all about co-op between community members,
defeating powerful bosses together to receive rewards based on the damage dealt.
The community members who have cleared the World Stage 12-40 will be eligible to take part in Total War.
There will be a Rank system based on combat contribution and various different rewards will be available.
There are a total of 4 different bosses, and you will be confronting a different boss every two days.
From what I've explained so far, you may think this is similar to Joint Combat.
What differentiates Total War from Joint Combat is that Top Rankers with a high level of Training Grounds
will be competing in the ‘Limited Advance Unit Area’.Other participants will be in ‘Limited Area’.
Participants will be rewarded based on (1) each of their rank and (2) their community's performance.
If a member in a community joins the Advance Unit,
everyone in that community will receive 'Winner’s Loot' as bonus rewards.
Furthermore, we now have a dedicated Pass!
Go ahead and enjoy the Total War with your community members, and the Pass will give you even more rewards!
#2. New Survivor & New Skin
Henry, a new Ally Alignment survivor, will be added to the game.
We are anticipating Henry to be utilized as a versatile Support.
Since he is a very young boy, he will be mostly supporting the others, rather than attacking enemies himself.
Henry uses red paint to mark enemies, and blue paint to mark comrades.
Depending on the color of the paint, he will either debuff the enemies to receive more damage or buff his fellow comrades.

I have another piece of good news!
A new skin for Abraham (Neutral), ‘Wild Rider’, will be added to the game.
Abraham is a widely used character in All-Stars and he also plays an important role in the TWD universe.
So we tried our best to show a new side of him while keeping his original characteristics.
Skybound Entertainment, the IP holders of The Walking Dead, also greatly took part in the process.
After much discussion, many changes were made.
In the end, a truly "wild" Abraham came out, and we are happy with the result.
Many Survivors were requesting skins, and we will continue to make more (we've already started making the next one).
However, as mentioned on our previous Dev Note, please understand that it takes a long time to design a charming skin that does not clash with the TWD universe.

Other New Features
- So that all Survivors can better recruit, the maximum Interaction Point receivable per day will be increased.
- Did anyone from your community take part in LMS and reach Round of 16?
If yes, there is now more reason to be proud of them, because everyone in your community will receive Winner’s Loot as rewards!
- Additionally, please look forward to Camp Defense with more stages, and our Town Tab with a new look to celebrate the Halloween season!
Additionally, here is some feedback about several suggestions from Survivors!
* More places to acquire Recruitment Ticket/Gears/etc
There will be more ways to acquire these items with more updates to come. We are adding Total War in the 1.6 Update and another feature in the 1.7 Update, and these big features will naturally lead to more rewards. We are designing the game so that more rewards become available with more updates.
* Story/Event Mode
A similar mode in the game would be the Survival Record. We truly enjoy making these since we’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback. We think it's the stories of character encounters and the unique map structures that led to positive feedback, and we are very thankful. We normally release a new Survival Record every two months, but we are considering releasing these faster. Oh, and of course, we are currently preparing a new event mode! I will be back with more spoilers when things get more concrete!
* Monthly Mission/Login Event
Regarding this, we have some concerns. It is hard to promise anything because we have our concerns about such long term missions not fitting well with the idle genre. We believe that 7/14 Days Login Events better suit the game. It is also easier to give changes to the event rewards. We’ve seen many cases of long-term login events changing the rewards midway and upsetting players who have already claimed some rewards. We kindly ask for your understanding.
* Additional Bonds
We can make more Bonds, but it is easy for it to clash with The Walking Dead universe. We are very cautious when making new Bonds, and this is why it takes a long time to prepare new ones.
* Increased Auto Search Loot
Although we don't have any plans to increase the amount of Auto Search loot, we are considering adding a new system that increases the amount of receivable rewards. The idea is not complete yet, so we will be able to share more details later - maybe when it gets much colder, roughly around the end of winter to beginning of spring.
We are currently getting prepared for the second 1.6 Update, along with the 1.7 Update.
On our second 1.6 Update, we will be adding the New Survival Record 'Promise (Part 2)'. It really warms my heart to receive positive feedback about the New Survival Records. Also, a new character named 'Brody' will be added to the game.
Hmm... It'll be a shame not to mention anything about the 1.7 Update, so here's a small spoiler! Apparently, a huge bunker was found somewhere in the Frontier. In the bunkers, there are loads of untouched resources useful for survival!
That is it for today's Dev Note!
We will be back again with another Dev note! Until then, stay safe!
